South Africa celebrates Heritage Day every year on September 24th.
On this day, South Africans are encouraged to celebrate their culture and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions, in the wider context of a nation that belongs to all of its people.
This year, President Ramaphosa called on all South Africans to celebrate the beat of African dance with a local dance challenge.
So, in the spirit of our colourful nation, Makweti Safari Lodge celebrated the rhythm of Africa with Jerusalema, a song by South African DJ and record producer Master KG, featuring South African vocalist Nomcebo.
A song that has transcended its national boundaries, the continent and has people across the world dancing to its vibrant rhythm.
So vibrant, that it has inspired a dance challenge that has taken social media by storm.
