Meet Talent – One Of Our Spa Specialists
Talent Nyamusa, known simply as Talent, is one of the incredibly energetic and enthusiastic ladies who keep Makweti going. She wears a few hats at Makweti Safari Lodge, and always carries out her day with a smile.
Born in Zimbabwe, Talent is some 800kms from home, but Makweti feels like home to her too. She is certainly part of our extended Makweti family and loves being in nature, surrounded by bushveld and wildlife. Talent is one of five siblings, having one brother and three sisters alongside her growing up. So, she is used to being a part of a big family.
Her grandfather used to tell her stories about the environment, which is what got her interested in working at a lodge. We are so grateful she chose us.
When Talent isn’t working, she loves reading and watching TV to relax. Her favourite part about working at Makweti is getting to see all the different animals, while learning about their behaviour. She admires people with imagination and skill, which is exactly what she brings to the workplace. Since being with us, she has learned how to be a masseuse and offers the most indulgent massages and spa treatments.
